These are the campsites that we've visited over the last few years in Limpopo and Mpumulanga. Below the map is information about them, listed in alphabetical order. You can click on the places on the map or scroll down the page. Kruger National Park. I've listed the sites separately as they are in different parts of the Park. The sites are, from the south: SAN Parks has an excellent website for all their parks (www.sanparks.org) and I've always found their online accommodation availability and booking to be excellent. In addition to campsite fees you also have to pay a daily conservation fee unless you have a WIld Card. back to Other South African Provinces |

Other: There's a large swimming pool, a shop and restaurant. There's a viewing deck overlooking a dam. We really liked this camp. it isn't as popular as Skukuza and Lower Sabie, probably becuase there's no permanent river nearby. We only stayed 1 night but saw rhino and leopard on both days and, on our way out saw a pack of wild dogs. |

Other: This is the only campsite we've come across in a South African National Park that doesn't have a fence which is great. There's a waterhole quite close to the campsite and you're likely to get some animals wandering through the site. There are no elephants or large predators in this part of the park. Thee's a small shop at the entrance gate. |
