Imfolozi Wilderness Trail 2010 - Monday
We arrived at Imfolozi in the early afternoon and went to Mpila camp to book in for the night. On our way we crossed the bridge over the Black Imfolozi River and noticed that it was very low.
At reception were told that the accommodation that we'd booked was unavailable as it needed some repairs and were asked if we minded staying at Masinda Lodge, a 10km drive away - "not a problem" we said.
This was our first sight of Masinda Lodge which turned out to be the most expensive lodge in the Park used by visiting dignitaries etc!! There were 3 en-suite bedrooms, a huge living room (with wide screen TV), dining room and a massive deck outside... We also had the services of a cook, although we didn't used him as we were going to have a braai in the evening.
We were treated to another lovely African sunset.
