KwaZulu-Natal and The Kruger National Park 2009. - Royal Natal, Drakensburg Mountains

It was a lovely day for our drive to The Royal Natal National Park, one of our favourite places in the Drakensburg Mountains, and we could see for miles. Our cabin, where we stayed for 2 nights, was very comfortable and in a stunning location.

The weather was superb and we had a great walk to the 'Policeman's Helmet.

The 'Helmet' is much bigger than it looks - can you spot 3 tiny figures at the base?

Diana isn't too keen on heights but managed going up and down the ladders OK.
