KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa 2014 - Drakensberg

We spent a long weekend with Darryl and Carol near Underberg in the Southern Drakensberg. One afternoon, from our site at the campsite, we saw a rainstorm in the distance.

The nearby dam looked glorious in the early morning autumn sun.

Darryl had never driven up the Sani Pass (last year they intended to do so but there was snow in the Pass so they didn't get very far). As we've driven up it a couple of times we were happy to join them in his Fortuner.

1. Richmond.

2. Kelso.
A long weekend with Darryl and Carol at Happy Wanderers Resort on the KZN South Coast.

3. Umlalazi Nature Reserve.

4. Chelmsford Dam.
A few days fishing with Jason and Mark.

5. Drakensberg.
A long weekend with Darryl and Carol, staying near Underberg and driving up the Sani Pass.

6. Salt Rock Resort.
More fishing for the twins, KZN North Coast.

The road in Lesotho from the Sani Pass heading West is being tarred - Chinese constructions vehicles and workers of course.
