Kalahari 2009 - Kalahari, Namibia

We only stopped 1 night in the Kalahari in Namibia as we were running short of food and drink. We stayed at Red Dunes camp and had the site to ourselves so it was very peaceful. The sunset was superb as were the stars at night - with no light pollution we could see them very clearly.

Red Dunes there certainly were.

As we travelled further west the number of large trees decreased so the Sociablel Weavers made good use of the telegraph posts.
